February reflections

February flew by. I had a jam-packed schedule and a few new wellness modalities to experiment with. On top of everything else, I put in extra effort to complete my AI Agents for Leaders specialisation at Vanderbilt University. Time moves fast when you have so many things you want to do, experience, and learn.

Iā€™m leaving February with the overwhelming feeling that there are so many things I want to focus onā€”yet never enough hours in the day to do them all.

Books Read: 4

Ā

Iā€™ve been diversifying my reading by adding books on Stoicism and Adlerian psychology. The most impactful was The Courage to Be Disliked by Kishimi and Koga. Based on Adlerian psychology, itā€™s structured as a dialogue between a young man and a philosopher. I took plenty of notes because it deeply resonated with meā€”the idea that we all have agency to create our best lives and that the only expectations that truly matter are the ones we set for ourselves.

My Wellness Routine

This month, I found refuge in the heatā€”escaping into the hot room at the yoga studio and meditating in the infrared sauna.

With freezing temperatures in Sweden, my motivation to continue Inferno Pilates and Bikram Yoga has been strong. An unexpected side effect of all this heat exposure? Iā€™ve managed to run in colder temperatures than ever beforeā€”down to -5Ā°C. I despise the cold, so running in sub-zero weather is a first for me!

Designing My Best Life

My vision of living my best life involves regularly exploring new experiences and treatments. February was designed with that in mind, and I experimented with:

Ā

A Head Spa

Iā€™ve always been intrigued by head spas, so I finally treated myself to one. It was an incredibly lush and relaxing experience, blending deep relaxation with high-tech scalp analysis. The therapist gave me great advice, and my hair has never felt as clean as it did after the session.

A Sound Bath & meditation

Iā€™d been curious about sound baths and meditations for a while, so when a friend recommended a studio, I gave it a try. The one-hour session guided us into a meditative state through sound. It was divineā€”something Iā€™ll do again.

Updated Supplement Protocol

Iā€™ve ordered Urolithin A and am impatiently waiting for it to arrive. I plan to add a treatment period to my supplementation stack since it helps clear out senescent cells (also known as ā€œzombie cellsā€), which contribute to inflammation.

Ultimately, my goal with biohacking is to increase my energyā€”so I can do, learn, and experience more.

Discovering New Creative Avenues

dutch_pour

I had the pleasure of a one-on-one workshop in Dutch pour painting with an artist friend in her studio. Itā€™s a technique where you surrender control of the outcome, focusing instead on the processā€”mixing paint to the right consistency and using air and heat to create effects on the canvas.

After much deliberation, I also invested in a specific video cameraā€”both for client work and to create content for my consultancy business. Itā€™s a new creative outlet, and so far, I love it. And I’m not one for material things.Ā

My Key Question for March

As I step into a new month, I find myself pondering my focus. I have even more ideas I want to exploreā€”how do I prioritise them?
